Rodrigo Sant’Ana is a producer, director and certified broadcaster, with experience in different entertainment environments, such as musical theater, music shows, film productions and broadcasting.

He studied Arts at Universidade Federal Fluminense, where he enhanced his artistic sensibility and aligned practical and theoretical knowledge in visual and performing arts, applying dramaturgy studies and aesthetic concepts of cinema as powerful differentials in his work as a storyteller.

He was assistant director in miniseries such as Santos Dumont – O Desafio do Ar, directed by Adolpho Rosenthal and in advertising films such as Unilever – Sun by the award-winning duo of directors, 300ml.

He signed the cast production of Festa Burn campaign, an advertising piece for Rock in Rio, directed by 300ml. He produced the casting of extras for TV series Mandrake – HBO Latin America by Conspiração Filmes and was casting assistant for the Bollywood production, Dhoom 2 – Yash Raj Films in partnership with Utopia Films Brazil.

He was a managing partner of the talent agency Trip Casting and provided services for film production companies and TV broadcasters such as Rede Globo, TV Record, Conspiração Filmes, Hungryman, Cine C, Mixer, Utopia Films, and others.

As Filmmaker, he works in the shooting and editing for short films, music videos, wedding films, corporate and institutional videos, having worked with companies such as Ateliê Multimídia, Re9 Filmes, Allados Studio, Pet Media, and others.

As stage manager and AV technician, he is responsible for the technical operation of the shows including Moana, Wizard of OZ, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland with Cia Teatral Sifuxipá.

In addition to being a backstage professional, he is also a performance artist and percussionist musician.

Rodrigo is a dedicated producer and very committed to the projects he works on. He is my right arm in rehearsals and practically my arms, legs, eyes, and ears on performance days. A multi-tasking professional, he is responsible for the audio operation, sound design, set design, and everything related to the staging and technical production of Cia Sifuxipá's shows. Attentive to the cast and all those involved in the production, he always leaves a great impression wherever the Sifuxipá performs. It is a pleasure and a privilege to be able to count on the talent, commitment and dedication of this excellent professional and great friend.

Rodrigo was not only the director/producer, but also the mastermind behind the video of our song Nunca Ser Igual. Since the conception of the video, when we talked about the general idea, I could see the total commitment to the work, as well as the resilience and creativity to get the result we wanted during the physical distance imposed by Covid-19. It was a privilege to be able to use Rodrigo's talent, from the casting selection to the attention to the smallest details in the finalization, resulting in a differentiated clip, which made us very proud and grateful.
